Delete your KidRota account

KidRota is made by Cosala Limited. You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app

1. Open KidRota and go to the Family tab.
2. Tap Delete my account.
3. Read what will happen, tap Delete my account again, then Yes, delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away. This can't be undone. The other parent is told you've left.

By email

If you can't use the app, email us from the address you sign in with. We'll check it's your account, delete it and let you know within one month.

Please don't send passwords or sign-in codes. We'll never ask for them.

What's deleted

• Your sign-in and email address.
• Your profile and settings, including any phone number you added.
• The notification tokens for your phones.
• Anything waiting for an answer, such as a swap you asked for, is cancelled.

What stays with the other parent

What you shared is part of their family's record too, so it stays with them: the calendar and agreed changes, events, to-dos and the vault. The history also stays. It keeps your name and what you wrote in requests, replies, events and to-dos, and no one can edit it.

If neither parent is left in the family, the calendar, events, to-dos, vault and children's names are deleted. The history, including the names in it, is kept but can no longer be seen by anyone.

Backups

Copies of the database are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted, so your details can stay in a backup for up to 90 days after you delete your account.
